You may be aware that there now are large numbers of both flu, and norovirus, in the Uk.

If you are entitled to it - I would urge you to get the flu vaccination. It is effective.

Any signs of vomiting or diarrhoea, please do not visit a hospital, or busy area. Its surprisingly easy to pass this on through hand contact. If you are struggling to drink, or have a pre existing medical condition, I would urge you to contact your GP.

Thanks for the timely reminder Lexi.

I don't come under the ordinary remit for the GP to give the flu jab but we're being offered the flu jab at work.  The problem is it only covers one type, so I'm not feeling inclined to accept the offer.

A timely warning - I'm still getting over the worst cold I've had in years, something I very rarely get even when all around me are dropping like flies. Thank goodness the winter vomiting bug has passed me by - so far.

Flu vaccine seconded - it's safe and very effective. I'm not eligible for it as I'm not in an at-risk group but I know plenty who are.

Even if it is one type, the coverage often helps reduce the impact of a different type. I had it last year, and I've found that the bad colds my kids had recently passed me by.

Sure, eating a clean diet gives you the fuel to feel great, ease inflammation, and melt body fat. But sometimes eating clean can use a bit of flavor.
