The idea has been mooted that maybe the Bear Pit has run its course and should be scrapped. As ever, bearing in mind that NGLR aspires to run on democratic principles (as far as possible, comrades ;-) ) we'd like to hear what you think.

Why scrap it?

Leave it there for back up.

If muckymouth is bored with it, tough!........it isn't compulsory to visit it.

I've voted to keep it.

To erase it doesn't erase what people think, nor does it erase their attitudes.  If it's not a nice place to be, then that's what the contributors have made it.

Hey Rob it was because of you it was created in the first place..

All I was concerned with was showing up certain posters as the hypocrites they are....

As the song says:

"I ain't afraid of your Yahweh.
I ain't afraid of your Allah.
I ain't afraid of your Jesus.

I'm afraid of what you do in the name of your god."

I get the impression that the main protagonists in the BP were/are of a Christian persuasion, so must have being doing it in the "name of their God"
(Whose name is apparently "Lynne")

I am more than happy to trade puerile insults with anybody who cares to poke me... but it does get a bit tiresome and I just can't be arsed all of the time.

But anyway Rob - If you feel the need to vent a spleen as a way of releasing the tension you feel at home, feel free to come here an throw petty insults at me.

I will do my best to reciprocate.

As Rick and Macca are atheists, I think I will have to stand in the queue behind you. Seems you are more likely to be there god, than I their goddess.    8)

Hey how much did you pay them??????
