We're forecast to get snow here in the North East on Saturday.

I love snow. I really hope we get a white Christmas, I shall be at my fathers in the village of Birstwith in North Yorkshire. It would look brilliant in the snow.

Now I am grown up I don't like snow anymore as we can't get the car out, even if the fall is light!

I noticed it on the weather forcast this morning, all that snow over the North Sea (I do hope our fishermen are safe) Rob tells me we don't get much snow here  :(

I love it when it is all shiny white and crispy, with a clear blue sky  Smilie_PDT

I hate it (used to love it when I was young and stupid and thought eating jam sarnies for Christmas Day Lunch on the top of Kinder Scout in a near blizzard, having dug ourselves out of the potential coffin of the car we were sleeping in being totally buried in a snow drift over night, was macho!)

My idea of enjoying snow now is a nice warm flat, lots of good, unhealthy grub, a bottle of mulled wine, a sofa and a window to watch the unfortunate/stupid sods outside freezing their dangley bits off!

Bah Humbug! Aren't we the grouch or should that be the Grinch of NGL returns.

Still you made me smile...

Still love snow and I still love taking the kids for snowball fights and tobogganing.  Some wonderful memories of Christmas. As for being macho and jam butties and kinder chocolate for Christmas dinner.
I think you read the wrong annuals and kids magazines as a child.

Love JL.xx
