Apostates what is their purpose?

Have apostates increased now the internet has arrived, or does the internet make it easier to expose them?
Jim

Re: Apostates what is their purpose?

Going door to door peddling the Watchtower in the hope that it won't be usewd for cat litter?
JamesJah

Why is it apostates keep trying to stop the Good News of God’s Kingdom, being preached through out the earth?

Acts 20:20-22
While I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house. But I thoroughly bore witness both to Jews and to Greeks about repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus.

Matthew 24:14
this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

Why do apostates work hard at preventing people hearing the Good News?
Jim

See my post above.
JamesJah

It does not say who are the ones who have no hope but are trying to prevent the preaching of God's Kingdom now does it Jim?

Any idea what a weed Christian does for a living?
Jim

Wot doesn't?
My post or yours?
JamesJah

Was your post your normal rant against the WT Jim?

Where are all the preachers of God's Kingdom today do you know?

And who are the ones that have to trying to blind the minds of the unbelievers?

Mark 6:2-4
why should this wisdom have been given this man, and such powerful works be performed through his hands? This is the carpenter the son of Mary and the brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon, is it not? And his sisters are here with us, are they not?” So they began to stumble at him. But Jesus went on to say to them: A prophet is not un-honoured except in his home territory and among his relatives and in his own house.”
Jim

Yes.
JamesJah

Who is doing the will of God today?

Who knows what the will of God is?

Matthew 7:21
Not everyone saying to me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.
Jim

Well, TBH, not the 'Faithless slave" in Brooklyn Gulag.
JamesJah

Matthew 25:24-28
Finally the one that had received the one talent came forward and said, ‘Master, I knew you to be an exacting man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you did not winnow. So I grew afraid and went off and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours. In reply his master said to him, ‘Wicked and sluggish slave, you knew, did you, that I reaped where I did not sow and gathered where I did not winnow? Well, then, you ought to have deposited my silver monies with the bankers, and on my arrival I would be receiving what is mine with interest. Therefore TAKE away the talent from him and give it to him that has the ten talents.  . .
Jim

So I was wrong, and I apologise.
Your text does not refer to the Brooklyn bampots after all.
JamesJah

Isaiah 2:1-4
The vision that Isaiah the son of Amoz had concerning Judah and Jerusalem: And it must occur in the final part of the days [that] the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will certainly be lifted up above the hills; and to it all the nations must stream. And many peoples will certainly go and say: Come, you people, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion law will go forth, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem.

And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.

Who is going where for what?
Jim

Yup;
Nothing to do with the wtbts there.
JamesJah

So where is it then????
JamesJah

Is that because apostates hate reading scripture truths?

2 Timothy 3:16, 17
All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

Coming to the bright light is too much for many, so apostates blind those searching for truth, so they also will not taste and see the coming to the truth is beneficial for them.

Matthew 23:13
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; for you yourselves do not go in, neither do you permit those on their way in to go in. . .
JamesJah

Yep I was right am I not?
Jim

Since Apostates are those who disaccociate themselves from the recieved and accepted truth, and since, for eighteen hundred years, the received and accepted truth was acceptance of the tri-unity of God, then all who deviate from that truth are, by definition, apostate.

I see so there is a sense of turning towards the Hindu understanding of how God operates in the christian religion?

Do you think that Melechizedeck who instructed Abram was influenced by the Hindu religion and that the Jews got it completely wrong?
