How many get a heavenly reward?

Do most Christians of today think that heaven is open to them all?

Who is the great crowd?

Who are the sheep and the goats?

Er...taken part in what is laughingly called a memorial feast, James...

2 Peter 3:3, 4
First of all know this, that in the last days ridiculers will come with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4 and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his?

What do end time ridiculers hope to achieve?

Is that the way you say you have not got a clue?

It is the way most critics hide their lack of knowledge of a subject, nothing new there.

Why you bother at al speaks volumes for your concept of truth.

Also for those that encourage you so that you can continue in your own vision of life as you choose it to be regardless of it being a reality or not.

Matthew 5:5
Happy are the mild-tempered, since they will inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:10
“Happy are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, since the Kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.

Matthew 5:11, 12
Happy are you when people reproach you and persecute you and lyingly say every sort of wicked thing against you for my sake. Rejoice and be overjoyed, since your reward is great in the heavens, for in that way they persecuted the prophets prior to you.

Quote:

10 When would faithful anointed Christians experience that heavenly resurrection? The Bible indicates that it has already begun. The apostle Paul explained that they would be raised ‘during Christ’s presence,’ which presence began in the year 1914. (1 Corinthians 15:23) When anointed faithful ones finish their earthly course now during his presence, they do not have to remain in death until the return of their Lord. As soon as they die, they are raised up in the spirit, being “changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.” What happiness is theirs, since the good works they did “go right with them”!—

So Messiah did not return 1n 1914 then ?

Oh, dear.
Pot. Kettle, Black.
I post in this manner, James, because I'm fed up with you answering questions with quotes which are irrelevent, questions which are not answers, or failure to justify the many inadequacies and exposed duplicities of your sect.

Thanks for posting the Beattitudes...even if they ARE in a corrupt version.

If there is a heaven I suspect many of the ones who claim they are destined to be waved through the pearly gates, might well be in for a disappointment. They might find themselves rubbing shoulders with the 'heathen' in the hereafter.

No! he Took up his Kingdom power then if you had taken notice of the scriptures you have been shown many times but failed to comprehend because you thought you know what you are talking about.

Revelation 12:9, 10
So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.

I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the Kingdom of our God

and the authority of his Christ,
gone

So you are now saying the WTBTS lied in their publications

Quote:

"… the battle of the great day of God Almighty … The date of the close of that "battle" is definitely marked in Scripture as October 1914. It is already in progress, its beginning dating from October, 1874." Zion's Watch Tower 1892 Jan 15 p.23

The Yearbook 2014 avoids mentioning the Watchtower's responsibility for such expectations when discussing how some members carried a countdown card that ended with the date 1st October 1914.

“Some Bible Students even carried a countdown card so that they could mark off each passing day. Many felt that they would be called beyond the veil, or to heaven, on that date.”

The WT draws attention to bible teachings as they have found them.
Now the WT draws attention to bible teachings as they find them.

This helps all those who are looking to keep their lives in harmony with the will of the Almighty God our our day.

What is his will for our day?

Matthew 7:21
Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.
JamesJah

John 14:19, 20
.In a little while the world will see me no more,

but you will see me, because I live and you will live.

In that day you will know that I am in union with my Father

and you are in union with me and

I am in union with you.
JamesJah

Psalm 110:1-3
Jehovah declared to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand Until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.”  Jehovah will extend the scepter of your power out of Zion, saying: “Go subduing in the midst of your enemies.”

Your people will offer themselves willingly on the day of your military force. In splendid holiness, from the womb of the dawn, You have your company of young men just like dewdrops.
JamesJah

Matthew 22:41-46
Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them: 42 “What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him: “David’s.”

He asked them: “How is it, then, that David under inspiration calls him Lord, saying, ‘Jehovah said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies beneath your feet”’?

If, then, David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”

And nobody was able to say a word in reply to him, and from that day on, no one dared to question him any further.

Where does the bible say Jesus is a part of a trinity?

Where does it say though shalt kill fellow Christians of another nationality?

2 Peter 3:16
However, some things in them are hard to understand, and these things the ignorant and unstable are twisting, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Again, do you wish to debate the concept of a 'just war'?
(taking nothing away from conscientious objectors.)
And, anyway, the correct translation of the command would not be
"You shall not kill", but
You shall not commit murder".
Define "murder".

What makes a weed Christian visible, is it not his apostate teachings?

Where is the source of unscriptural teaching?

Not while they are fighting over which religion is the greatest?

Isaiah 2:2, 3
.In the final part of the days, The mountain of the house of Jehovah Will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, And it will be raised up above the hills,

And to it all the nations will stream.

And many peoples will go and say:

Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, To the house of the God of Jacob. He will instruct us about his ways, And we will walk in his paths.

For law will go out of Zion, And the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem.

Which nation is there that is not streaming to that mountain now?
