It is me........

....I randomly tried my old log in and it worked, so I am back having been unable to get logged on. Tres frustrating, what with Lorna nicking my poll, and me not being able to get involved.

So - I shall continue until I am prevented again, last time my netbook was liberated from me in Poole, and when I tried to log in on my replacement one it wouldn't work.

Tis good to be back.
Lexilogio

Good to have you back!

Stick your slippers by the fire.... place isn't the same without you

MrsAndy made bread in the new breadmaker this evening.

I am currently enjoying it in cheese on toast, with a salad cream dip. It is divine.

BTW my new avatar is of young Bailey who just had her second birthday last week. She is probably as big as she is going to get and I reckon she's about 9st.-ish, maybe a bit more. The picture was taken this summer on the Jurassic coast, apparently you can get big bones down that way.

Hi Andy and welcome back! What a handsome pooch ... he's nearly as good-looking as Koko (my hound).

What all this home-made bread and cheese is going to do to your already bonny figure I dread to think, but life's too short to worry about it!
Pukon_the_Treen

I bought one of those excellent cheddar cheese boule breads from the co-op this morning, and had it hot with cheese. Now I've got killer indigestion. It's going to be a rough night.

Oh I love them
Pukon_the_Treen

They are gorgeous aren't they, but I've got another bloody cold as well and that always plays hob with my digestion. I'm too young to be griping about my guts!

Lexi I'll hold Andy down if you want to bash him with your supersized bottle of oil of primrose!

Yeah... a-hem...  good to see you back Andy.

It's a thought - but I suspect he would enjoy it...

Oh no danger there...  For thank the gods there is only one 1st degree here, with a couple of 2nds and 3rds hovering in the back-ground.

And Andy man ain't one of them.

Andy

I'm confused Lynne.

Are you saying I am an idiot, and if so am I a 1st, 3rd or 4th degree idiot?

Truth matters, apparently.

1st degree.......
Andy

Oh

Well

Thank you for clearing that up then.

Mad as a box of frogs.
Andy

The three names were as a consequence of my log in not working.

So when each log on ID failed to work I applied for a new one. But the previous accounts remained active, although they didn't work. Then I tried my original one on a whim and it worked again. Which is why I have reappeared after a spell away.

Exactly! For a person who has a host of sock puppets to object to others of having aliases is a bit rich!

Andy, it matters not to most of us because you've never pretended to be anyone other than 'you'.  Any change of name has clearly been for honourable and good reasons.

Fwiw, I don't think you're any more of an idiot than most of us sane and rational people.

Maybe you should ask the Mod to delete the accounts you can no longer login to...  to save you from any more of Lynnes twisted logic.

Short spell but I have wondered how your dad/pop is?

Thanks for asking, he is getting along fine, albeit that he has had to make some changes to his life. He is not taking services at the moment, probably retired from the liturgical life for good I should imagine. He gets to the church though. He just needs to be aware of his limitations. I haven't spoken to him about what it was like to be dead, as he technically was for twenty minutes. I don't want to set his heart off again.

Had you got your faith back?

I don't think I ever lost it. I just need to keep reminding myself to pay no heed to other people, they are merely obstacles to faith. Either telling me that I am wrong or how my faith should be. When they don't actually know.

How have you been Lynne?
Farmer Geddon

Apparently it's you, because truth matters!!
Ketty

Are you two back on again?
Andy

Lynne

Not sure what the others are on about, but I welcome your sentiments.

I should imagine he will have no memory of being dead.

I am sure if he had anything to share you would have been the first to know.

I don't know about the elect, or their proclivity for having a kip. And you are perhaps right if my father had any revelations he would tell me. Mind you we have always clashed over the veracity of Revelations. I'm with Luther, which is not something you will hear me say very often.

Quote:
I find that an interesting concept. Do you have the answer to what real faith is?

YES

Quote:
I only know what I believe and what difference it makes for me and my life. I spend all my time with God, so it is hard not to be aware of him.

Sounds about right to me.

I used to walk with you, along the avenue,
Our hearts were carefree and gay; how could I know I'd lose you,
Somewhere along the way.

The friends we used to know, would always smile 'hello',
No love like our love, they'd say; then love slipped through our fingers,
Somewhere along the way.

I should forget, but in the loneliness of night I keep remembering;
Everything.
You're gone and yet, there's still this feeling deep inside that you will always be,
Part of me.

So now I look for you, along the avenue, and as I wander I pray,
That some day soon I'll find you;
Somewhere along the way.
Andy

Bless you for introducing beauty to our worlds.

We are divided by water but united by our humanity and love, you beautiful man.

Aw shucks, Andyman, now I've come over all unnecessary!

I mean it lion man - you serve as an example to us all, and I love you and Hugh - even though we have never met.

I want to hear that again when you're sober, sausage!
Andy

Please don't mistake my lack of sobriety for insincerity. Although I take your point.

Yet I still love you.

I'm quite astonished that nobody has told us to get a room ... those that don't understand spiritual love, that is.
Andy

Tis good that an atheist would highlight spiritual love.

Of course I would completely understand your attraction to my enormous cock, but it is warming that you appreciate my less protruding virtues. Which brings me round to the two famous things said by a famous man - all you need is love, and life is what happens when you are busy making plans.

Sorry about tonight - be better tomorrow.

Oh dearie me, you naughty man, you have quite stirred me up! I'm just off to bed now, to dream about you. Hope I don't talk in my sleep ... himself doesn't believe in that platonic stuff.
