Have you seen this weeks New Scientist on the hazards of blood transfusions?
Shaker

No. Have you?

Jim had a problem that it covered, you on the other hand may get a problem that the article deals with, so it is worth a read because it deals with the hazards one could face.
The Boyg

I don't subscribe to the New Scientist.

Does the article conclude that the risks of having a blood transfusion are greater than those of refusing one against the advice of doctors?
Jim

Well, the hazards of NOT haveing a blood transfusion, in my case, would have included visiting my grave.
Does that help?

Hang on.. I just followed that link, and got an article about Mormon's not ordaining women, or something. Not New Scientist and not about blood transfusions.

I looked back over the last couple of paper copies of New Scientist and couldn't see it in there either.

What is going on? What article? Which week? What does it say are the hazards of blood transfusions? Why am I being shown articles about sad Mormon women?

Find out in the next thrilling episode of The Watchtower's Guide to the Galaxy....

Bumped for James....in the (probably vain) hope that I'll finally get a direct answer to my question.

I think I can explain that one Cybers.  The OP was split in its entirety from another thread because the reply had nothing to do with the thread upon which it was posted, even though it quoted Jim's post from the original thread, as if it was in reply to it.

And if you can make sense of that, you deserve a sticky bun as a prize.  I knew what I meant when I typed it.

bumped - again - for James.

Well, given that haemophilia has now taken over the 'last prophet' thread, I imagine this thread will now turn into a discussion about false prophets. Also, it is quite possible he is talking about a New Scientist from 1993.
