To take a look

One of the things I did at University, was to visit as many different churches as I could. And I'm glad I did. I still try to take opportunities to do this. Because the greatest barrier to unity is ignorance.

But I haven't done as well as I'd like. I've visited:
Catholic
Greek Orthodox
Baptist
Salvation Army
Methodist
Church of Scotland
Church of England
Quakers
Testament Reformist Church

Plus a Gudwara (Sikh temple)
And been to talks by Hindus, a Rabbi, and an Iman

So what about you? Have you been to other services?
Ketty

Other services I've visited:

Roman Catholic,
Anglican,
Baptist,
Methodist,

That's all.

Catholic,  c of e, went into a hindu temple in Madras....which I believe was at that time the largest in the world....that was a completely different experience I'll tell you. There didn't appear to be any of the formality apparent in Christian religions and people seemed to be doing their own individual thing. Whether it was dancing, ringing bells, praying to one of the many Gods in the Hindu pantheon,  sitting quietly, wailing. It really is quite an assault on the senses.

I'm sure there is a structure to it all, it just wasn't readily apparent to me.

Apart from CofS;
Free Church of Scotland, Episcopal, Methodist, Baptist, Assemblies of God (Pentecostal), Coptic, R.C, Evangelical, Plymouth Bretheren.

And I've visited a synagogue, a couple of mosques and witnessed a pagan celebration at Calanais.
