I like Matt Redman's version of Bless the Lord, O my soul (Psalm 103) :

Not quite the same lyrics as Psalm 103, Ketty!   But a pleasant enough song. It's interesting to read your comments on the first page from over four years ago. Did you like this song/would you have liked this song back then, given what you said about modern hymns then?

The Cherubic Hymn
(sung just before holy communion, to give it its context within the service)

They (they?) may know that already - Floo's opinions, I mean.

Probably exercising her freedom to contribute her thoughts to a thread which is open to one and all.

Obviously a troublesome concept to you. So it goes.

Shaker,
Is your name floo? Are you so arrogant that you have to post for the lady and answer with guesses? This is a hymns thread, how's about you atheists back off with your hate for Christianity here? There are so many other threads where you can parade your arrogance and contempt.

I was the one who started this thread in the first place as a thread about music - a specific musical form.

I'll post wherever I damned well please - not that it's any concern of yours.

I hadn't realised that you had started the thread originally.  As someone once said:

Too funny.
