I guess no one likes the wild life. Be it Saturday night or Animals.
I think animals can have a soothing effect.
Stroking a cat is really relaxing, A dog makes you feel energetic.
Who has pets?

Me!!!!

My dog is a collie-labrador cross, her great grandmother was a collie-red setter cross, so she is a fantastic ginger biscuit colour with blonde pantaloons on her hind legs.

Her name is Sammie Fluffy Wilkin and she was from a rescue home - I got her just a couple of days before she was due to be put down.

I will grant she's a bit of a tart (particularly around male German Shepherds - big stupid beefy ones for preference), but she is very protective of me and the kids and she takes me (!) out for lots of long walks.

We have a rescue dog, about 8 year old, called Doodles. Also Little Dood. Dood. Hairy Hoover amongst other names.

We call him a Bigissue Terrier as he looks like he should have a rope for a lead and be stood next to someone selling the Big Issue.

He had a bad start in life but he has a happy and joy filled life now.

However.....

....all that may change soon.

We are currently scanning breeders to buy a bullmastiff puppy. My father used to breed boxers and bullmastiffs when I was young, and I still adore them. Going to a dog show in Ripon this weekend to check out some breeders and show dogs.

Quite fancy getting a bitch and maybe breeding her later on. Bullmastiff puppies are so cute, and they have an excellent temperament when grown, particularly with children.
