Perhaps Sam could provide us all with the "verifiable facts" about the existence of God,  - that is if you've got enough time to spare from finding fault with other posters.

Yes, I have noticed that this piss-poor debating 'tactic', i.e. "because you believe in God you should produce evidence for the existence of God before you ask anyone for proof of their assertions" or similar, is regularly trotted out by certain atheists who don't have the wit to debate the subject at hand properly.

Yes Sam, it's completely unreasonable of us non-believers to ask for "evidence" of this omnipotent God. I mean the mere temerity of it! Downright insulting in fact. You are quite right to call into question the question the character of posters who disagree with you and also to question their tactics, debating or otherwise! Quite right, but only because YOU have nothing positive to say in the way of evidence for your own beliefs. In other words change the subject!

I would hate to shoot down your "evidence" before you present it, but a man rising from the dead and ascending to heaven to sit beside Himself, defying gravity on the way, well sorry mate, but I don't believe that! Do you?

A man walked on water! Yeah tell me another one.
