Is this "something" good, bad or indifferent?

Okay - I'm going to say that the something is getting into work 15 minutes late.

...and the thing that He shares with me that causes me pain is that He tells me that I must have sex with a different horse every day for a month.

I think this may stop me from believing in God and consider the possibility that I might, in fact, be crackers.

Three formal questions:

If one is crackers, would one actually be able to discern the fact that one is in fact, crackers?

Would one's crackyness convince one of one's own normality and therefore, everyone else's crackyness?

Do you know up to 31 different horses, or, would you be glad it's February and not a leap year?

In my case - I shall believe that God will let me know, in His own way, if I think I can tell if I'm bonkers or not.

Errrr. maybe?

I'd be very happy it is a non-leap year February. Is Cheltenham in March or is it in Feb?

2. Two posters who intend to carry out a formal debate should propose the debate to admin or to the moderators, outlining the subject/title of the proposed debate and their qualification to debate said subject;

3. Only those two posters are entitled to post in the relevant debate thread - all posts from other members will be summarily removed. However, for comment upon an ongoing debate, a separate thread for other members will be created to comment freely;

Yes, it is rarely used.

Just as silence isn't necessarily a cue to talk.

The idea behind this section was for formal debate. You are welcome to propose the debate if someone else wishes to debate the issue with you.

Lexi, I think perhaps the problem may be that if people have never been involved in the correct procedures for rigorous academic debate, they don't understand the pre-requirements.

Having said that, the rules as set out for the formal debate here, are clear.  First, submit the topic to Admin (presumably by PM?).  This clearly means, well, it does to me, that it's not a place to on an ad hoc basis post things as we do on the rest of the site.  First, go through Admin!

They are indeed clear. I am looking forward to seeing some good debates when it does get going. There are some very good posters on here who are able to make their points clearly and back them up.
