Just passing through today. Glancing through the recent posts, I don't think I was wrong about Bashers

No Cymru, it wasn't you I had in mind at all. It was a certain other person who has a habit of sending unpleasant pms to me and others.

I've certainly had highly abusive PMs from a certain poster over at R&E.

I wonder if we're talking about the same individual?

Could be if it is one who changed the first bit of his username on about three occasions, and had an obsessional interest in what is going on here!

No - I know exactly who you mean, but no, it's not him.

I'll second that. Who on earth are you talking about? I can't think of anyone who has changed their name(s) on R&E

So will I.  I think if people aren't prepared to name names and just make cryptic comments, they should shut up about it.  Firstly, because it starts up a guessing competition.  Secondly, because people might accuse the wrong person thus unfairly tarring them, as has happened here.

P.S. Since BA has managed to piss off some of my most admired posters, including JeremyP and Pukon, not to mention Shaker himself, I suspect this is unlikely.

I've mellowed out a bit towards Anthony.  When he started out on the BBC boards, his sole argument seemed to be "Christianity is right and you're a twat".  He's still a bit like that, but he has improved and we seem to have similar views on England cricket matches (for instance, we had identical and very unchristian views on Tendulkar getting his hundredth hundred in the just finished test series).

The person who I thought was really behaving like a complete arsehole on the R&E boards was Realgonecat.  He posted some really obnoxious stuff at me towards the end.

Some people genuinely mistake 'obscure' for 'cryptic', and both; for wit.

Hi jeremy,

I'd just like to say:  "Christians are right, and everybody else is a twit."
