An orb would have moved. This was a photograph and that ORB is the reflection from the lense. Try blowing it up and you will see it is a refelction. Or rather deflection of the light within the lens.

Proof would be to stare at a light or light bulb and close your eyes. You will see the light still reflecting off the back of your eyes lens.

It has moved, if you look very carefully at the first photo you can see by how far it has moved in the second and if it was a reflection of dust or light on the lens it would be in the same place only it isn't.

I had taken a whole series of photos that day and there is no sign of dust etc on the lenses in other photos, it is just in these two.

So, what do you think the circle is, Jacq?  Are you suggesting maybe it's something supernatural or mystical?

The fact it may be have appeared to 'move' could be down to the fact the pics are taken at slightly different angles/perspectives.

Just for the record, I'm with those who think it's a trick of light and easily explainable by the natural.

I agree.

I have no idea what it is, which is why I'm asking and actually I do have a dust spot on an old photo and it looks nothing like what is on these two.

And what if it is something out of this world, why can't we acknowledge it? Why do we have to pretend it is dust etc?

Jacq, as you've said: you don't know what it is - but haven't offered an opinion and yet have rejected possible and rational explanations.  Using your same reasoning and the same logic why pretend it's something out of this world when it's merely a trick of the light?

Personally, I wasn't pretending anything but it's clear, well to me anyway, that it's easily explainable - it's a 'trick of light'.  To my eye, it's clear it's not 'moved', and that the two photographs have been taken at slightly different angles and perspectives.

Simples.

Edited: to amend - because on re-reading, the grammar was appalling.
