Just in case there is something there which I should have responded to...

For some reason, I can't open page 2 of the Passive Smoking thread. I look at these things at work, and the machine here blocks that page. I don't know if there is some dodgy link or something. It can't be profanities, otherwise I would never be able to read my own posts! It might just be a glitch. Anyway, just thought I'd say.

Cybers, this was Bernie's post on the thread:

There's a brainwashing gone on that exceeds the reality/realities.

Fair anough using hospital lecy to charge up is a point but same goes for mobiles and when it comes to donating for leccy then I is up for it.

It's happened again; on the "But Is It Art?" thread this time. The last time I was on that thread I was saying that we cannot know the intentions of the prehistoric people who created work which may or may not be art, by Elevenses' definition. Someone must have posted something terribly naughty since then, because my employer's firewall, or whatever it is, won't let me access that thread.

...are you getting knocked-out or going for the tough-guy option?

I've done the tough guy opt twice and the snooze opt twice, so I'll go for the snooze given the choice, but either way I can take it, I'm a man rippelling macho
Countdown starts now it's due at 3.45.

I've only had it done once, couldn't be bothered with hanging around, so did it awake.

I was waiting on the results when the next guy in line asked what it was like as he couldn't decide which option to choose.

After I described my experience, when the nurse returned his decision was
"Jist knock me oot hen"!

Well thats it done and dusted, got to go back in six weeks for another.
What they are doing is a gradual dilation in the area where I had the radiotherapy.
I had the snooze, so unfortunately I've got to be waited on hand and foot for the next 24 hrs, it's a hard task, sitting here and having people run after me but I expect I'll just have to grin and bear it,

((( Bernie )))

Hope you're a good patient and your waiters-on are good nurses.  From what Seb's written, I think you took the wisest option.  Glad it all went okay.
