How long does it take to get intelligent life on a planet?

Is it possible seeing as earth has had so much time but still finds it has not been able to achieve it?

What does it take to create intelligent people?

Yet again James we have to ask you to be clear on what you mean by your statement!
Intelligent life? How are you defining that exactly?

Well most animals are bourn intelligent, it just appears that humans have a preference for stupid, does any one know the reason for that?

I know some say it is evolution but is this not evolution going backwards?

I agree that the predisposition that the human race has for belief in Gods could lead one to conclude that we have a "preference for stupid" but I would argue that that in itself is a simplistic and stupid viewpoint.

Perhaps you could expand on your reasons for thinking we are stupid.

I do think we are stupid - but paradoxically we are also the most phenomenal thinkers, inventors and problem-solving creatures that currently exist on this planet.

Ain't life confusing?

Humans have a problem realising that their plethora of gods has only added to their confusion, they seem unable to fathom out that their gods tell lies.

The trouble is many of them now have control over instruments of annulation that they are not  intelligent enough to control, if not restrained they could turn the planet into  a radio active desert.

As there is now so many of them that think they know best who can stop them?

It should be quite easy to see why humans live in a dream world of their own making.

Why is it the powers that be like to keep the human stupid?

One does have to go to UNI

to see what types of deformed teachings they have, then one can learn by those who have gone already.

Some are too young to know the slippery slopes of this world until it is too late.

Then most foolish people keep say be like us it is so much more fun, and then there are those who are foolish enough to believe them, are there not?
