Re the returning swans as mentioned on the weather pages, this was last years report, can't find anything so far for this years but more swans are arriving now from Siberia.

Of the two swans mentioned in the article Dario, has arrived but not Dorcus (or maybe the other way round can't quite remember, what was said on tv this week) but the trust is confident they are on their way.

This morning we were informed on Points West that the first swan family had arrived from Siberia. Connie and Conrad arrived along with two of their cygnets. And in case you are wondering all the swans are named.

Thanks, Jacqui.    I was able to find some youtube videos of these swans.  They are so beautiful.  The beaks are very distinctive.

Here's a couple of pics I took over the last two days.  These ducks are Hooded Mergansers and rare visitors to our pond out back.
